DESCRIPTION
Antioxidant Bioflavonoid Complex is a dietary supplement providing antioxidant bioflavonoids derived from natural sources. Each tablet supplies a combination of citrus bioflavonoids rich in quercetin and its glycoside, rutin.

FUNCTIONS
Bioflavonoids are a class of plant-based nutrients that are potent antioxidants, which are believed to neutralize many potentially damaging free radicals. Free radicals are undesirable compounds that are produced as a byproduct of normal metabolism. Additionally, they occur with exposure to air pollution and smoking and are increased with various diseases such as diabetes and cancer. They also increase in response to vigorous exercise. Free radicals when excessive can damage healthy cells causing wear and tear and accelerate aging of our cells, vital organs and the entire body. Bioflavonoids have beneficial synergistic effects when combined with vitamin C. Bioflavonoids are also capable of binding undesirable metals and can prevent them from enhancing undesirable free radical production.

Bioflavonoids such as quercetin, support the body’s circulatory system and also support immune function, platelet function, enzyme activity, and the metabolism of cholesterol, collagen, and histamine.

Stinging nettles contain Vitamins C and A and also various minerals to help support antioxidant activity, optimal metabolism and health.

N-acetyl-L-cysteine (NAC) helps our bodies build up our supply of antioxidants to further support our ability to offset damage from the build-up of toxic free radicals.
